Wal-Mart has launched a new video download service where shoppers can download films and TV shows from walmart.com/videodownloads. The beta service, powered by HP Video Merchant Services, marks the first time a major retailer has been granted the support of all the key Hollywood studios, Wal-Mart said in a statement.
The site includes more than 3,000 movie and TV titles, offering shoppers the option of downloading entertainment to their personal computers for viewing on PCs, laptops and portable media players.
